CHNT31
Under the theme “Getting Dirty – Back to the Roots of Cultural Heritage Work / Heritage in Action: From the Field to the Future”, this year’s CHNT conference, organized by CHNT ICOMOS Austria, will take place from November 11–13, 2026, at the Orangery at Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna, Austria.
Bringing together research, digital innovation, and heritage management, the conference will explore how advanced documentation and analysis methods support the protection, understanding, and communication of cultural heritage.
RIEGL will be present with a booth at the conference, showcasing its latest developments in LiDAR technology and solutions for high-performance 3D data acquisition across a wide range of cultural heritage applications. A particular focus will be on the RIEGL VZ-600i 3D Terrestrial Laser Scanner, whose speed, accuracy, and mobility support the efficient documentation and preservation of archaeological sites, historic monuments, and cultural landscapes worldwide.
See the RIEGL VZ-600i in action during the SINCERE training session at CHNT31! With guidance from RIEGL experts, participants will gain hands-on experience using advanced LiDAR equipment to scan selected areas of the venue at different scales. Further information and registration details are available here.
