RIEGL USA’s My-Linh Truong Re-Elected to MAPPS Board of Directors
RIEGL USA is proud to announce that My-Linh Truong, Division Manager of Unmanned Laser Scanning at RIEGL USA, has been re-elected to serve another term on the Board of Directors for the Management Association for Private Photogrammetric Surveyors (MAPPS), representing the Associate Members.
We are excited to have My-Linh reappointed to our MAPPS Board of Directors. My-Linh’s role as the Associate Member Director will help to provide strategic guidance to support MAPPS’ mission of delivering cutting-edge technological solutions and fostering partnerships though technology and collaboration. MAPPS looks forward to the insights and leadership My-Linh will bring to the Board, reinforcing its commitment to excellence and innovation in the geospatial market.
Since her initial appointment, My-Linh has been instrumental in advancing MAPPS initiatives, particularly in promoting emerging leaders in geospatial, increasing female representation in the geospatial industry, and driving innovation in the commercial UAS LiDAR marketplace.
With 15 years at RIEGL USA, My-Linh has led the growth and development of the company’s unmanned laser scanning division. Her strategic vision has helped expand the reach of UAS LiDAR technology across a wide range of industries, including infrastructure, environmental monitoring, and public safety.
I am honored to continue serving on the MAPPS Board of Directors. This opportunity allows me to further contribute to the advancement of the geospatial profession and support the continued growth of our industry. Over the past two years, I’ve seen how collaboration and shared expertise can drive meaningful progress. I’m excited to build on that momentum—championing innovation, empowering future leaders, and helping ensure our field remains dynamic, forward-looking, and impactful.
