The VMX is RIEGL’s flagship mobile scanning system, building on over 15 years of innovation since the first systems of its kind were introduced. The latest model, the VMX-2HA, continues this legacy with significant performance enhancements. Its dual-scanner configuration delivers the highest data density in the lineup for vehicle-based mobile mapping, all in a single pass. The advanced camera integration supports up to nine individual cameras with a total imaging system resolution of up to 264 MP. Sophisticated image processing delivers gapless, fully 360 degree panoramic image stitching as well as high resolution pavement orthophotos.
Real-time visualization of both LiDAR and imagery ensures accurate data acquisition, while high-speed image capture supports applications like pavement analysis through orthoimages generated in the user-friendly RiPROCESS software suite.
Ideal applications include highway and city mapping, tunnels, subway systems, railway corridors, utility infrastructure, and more.
