From October 21-23, 2026, the thirteenth European Road Profile Users' Group (ERPUG) conference will take place at  DoubleTree by Hilton Florence Metropole, Italy. 
Under the theme of this year’s conference “Road profiling for future maintenance services”, equipment vendors and operators, pavement management engineers, construction engineers & design engineers, researchers, universities, federal, state & local government agencies, paving contractors and consultants will meet to discuss the latest developments.

Advances in RIEGL Mobile Mapping Technologies for 3D Urban Modeling and Pavement Condition Assessment

Simone Orlandini, president of Microgeo S.r.l., RIEGL distribution partner for Italy,

will give an insight in two complementary developments in advanced mobile mapping and 3D geospatial modeling: the creation of a comprehensive 3D city model of Turin based on RIEGL mobile mapping data, and the integration of the Pavemetrics Laser Crack Measurement System (LCMS) with the RIEGL VMX Mobile Laser Scanning platform for automated road condition assessment.
