INTERGEO is the world's largest event and communication platform for geodesy, geo information and land management. It covers a wide variety of fields, ranging from all sectors of surveying, geoinformation systems, remote sensing and photogrammetry to supplementary solutions and technologies.

In 2012, INTERGEO will take place in Hannover in hall 7, 8, and 9 of Deutsche Messe, Hannover, Germany. The entrance is located at "OST 3".

Traditionally, INTERGEO is the most important trade fair for RIEGL. This year the RIEGL booth is located in hall 7, booth #I.10. The interest in the use of airborne lasers for characterizing forest ecosystems has expanded rapidly in conjunction with changes in technology, increases in computing and software capacity, as well as an improved understanding of how to utilize the information captured. The SilviLaser 2012 program has been developed to enable communication of a wide-range of topics, from operational applications to the latest research outcomes.
