HYDRO 2016

HYDRO 2016, the 24th annual IFHS hydrographic conference and exhibition, will be held from 8th to 10th of November, 2016 at Yachthafenresidenz Hohe Düne in Rostock-Warnemünde, Germany.

This event is organized by the German Hydrographic Society (DHyG) on behalf of the International Federation of Hydrographic Societies (IFHS). The HYDRO conferences are acknowledged as important forum for innovative ideas and exploring emerging technologies, applications and practical experiences within all sectors of hydrography.

We would like to invite you to visit RIEGL booth No. 75 to inform yourself about the RIEGL product portfolio for topo-hydrographic surveying applications. Get informed on the new products launched at Intergeo this year: the RIEGL BDF-1 bathymetric depth finder and the BathyCopter.

Next to the RIEGL booth, our partner AHM (http://ahm.co.at/) will present how these RIEGL topo-hydrograhpic solutions are used in the field at their booth No. 74.

Join us for the User-Workshop “Airborne Laser Bathymetry – Sensor Technology, Surveying Practice, and Results” on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 10:45-12:15 in Room WS-1 where RIEGL and AHM will give an insight in the latest developments concerning LiDAR for hydrographical applications.

Furthermore, we want to announce the AHM presentation “High resolution, topobathymetric LiDAR coastal zone characterisation in Denmark” on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 15:50 in Auditorium A during Session 7A “LiDAR Case Studies for hydrographic assessments”.
