Remote Hydrography 2024
Organized by The Hydrographic Society UK & Irland (THS:UKI), Remote Hydrography 2024 conference and exhibition will take place from February 27-28, 2024 at the Printworks Event and Exhibition Centre in Dublin, Ireland.
This event brings together manufacturers, operators, regulators, and research and development leaders from both industry and academia, within the rapidly developing field of remote surveying and uncrewed survey operations and provides an opportunity to share experience gained in the development and application of autonomous and uncrewed platforms (surface, underwater, aerial, and space-based) and the associated command and support services.
RIEGL will present the strengths of LiDAR technology in a hydrographic context at booth 9 in the associated exhibition. RIEGL’s broad range of high-performance topo-bathymetric laser scanners and systems enables the collection of seamless data sets that span the land/water interface, enabling high-resolution surveying of both above and below the water surface topology with high efficiency. Don’t miss to explore the NEW RIEGL VQ-860-G High Performance Topo-Bathymetric Airborne Laser Scanner onsite! Its increased performance enhances depth penetration in surveying inland waters and near shore waters for even more efficiency in bathymetric applications. A large operational envelope with typical flight altitudes from 75 m to 600 m, a high spatial resolution due to measurement rates of up to 100 kHz and a high scanning speed of up to 100 scans/sec further increase efficiency. An optional mode with reduced laser power allows adaption to eye-safety requirements in sensitive areas.
Or get more detailed information on the NEW VQ-840-GE, RIEGL’s lightweight and compact topo-bathymetric airborne laser scanner. Its low weight of 9.5 kg (21 lbs) and the compact and robust design facilitate integration into UAVs in particular; on the other hand, the housing is also compatible with stabilized platforms.
We look forward to welcoming you in Dublin!
